Looking to join a supportive and collaborative team? Heartland Niagara Animal Hospital is hiring a veterinarian to join us! We are proud to serve the pets in our community including dogs, cats, pocket pets and exotics. Our doctor team is supported by an experienced staff of dedicated technicians and skilled assistants; each doctor works with an organized personal team to help them through the day.
This is an ideal opportunity for both experienced vets and new grads. We offer a welcoming and relaxed but professional environment, and our doctors look forward to working collaboratively with other vets to gain new skills. We know how important it is to our doctors to enjoy their time away from the practice, so we are happy to work with our newest doctor to create a schedule that meets their needs, with no after-hours or emergency requirements.
Our clean and modern facility includes:
â?? Surgical Suite
â?? Digital Radiography
â?? Dental X-ray
Our Approach to Mentorship
For new grads who join our team, we invest our time to ensure you get the support, time, and guidance for your first job out of vet school. Our approach to bringing new grads aboard includes:
â?? New grad-driven orientation and tailored mentorship, so that you are able to learn and grow at your own pace
â?? Longer appointment times and shadowing opportunities
â?? Opportunities for Zoom calls and round table discussions with other new and recent graduates.
â?? New grad peer advisors for networking and support as you navigate your first DVM position.
â?? Slack group discussions to connect you with experienced vets for case reviews, connection, and advice.

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
Join a group of motivated veterinary professionals while taking advantage of employee programs, resources, and fantastic benefits. Join one of our many collaboration groups for Hospital Managers, Techs, and Vets! Plus, we love supporting growth in your teams' desired career paths.
